Busy Busy...

So I thought that I was going to start blogging more frequently, but I just keep forgetting I even have a blog! New Year's resolution.... blog. (well- that'll be 1 of them anyway)

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and will have a very happy new year! I am headed south tomorrow (leaving hopefully just before the snow rolls in) to Houston and then to Austin... back to Houston... back again to Austin... and then finally down to San Antonio on Jan.10th for a bridal show with my lovely M.O.H, Laura! I'm excited to see my love, his family, and wonderful friends in Austin.

Wedding plans are in full swing and I'm still enjoying every minute of it! Save-the-dates and invitations have been designed and selected, dress has been bought, and all the little details are beginning to come together.

Still new to "blogging" so I have no clue what to write... but I'll get the hang of it- hopefully. And if not... there are more important things in life. ;) Well, I'm off to finish packing... hopefully you'll hear from me soon....

The Latest on Life

I need to become more active in the blogging business... 

Well... on Wednesday, April 8th the wonderful man in my life, Ian, popped the big question!  It was such a pleasant surprise and I am so happy to be able to say that I will be marrying the most amazing man, Ian Crockett Kurtin, on October 2nd of next year!  Things have been amazing since the proposal and we have had such a great time planning the wedding thus far.  I actually already found my dress! (will hopefully make the purchase next week!)

School is ALMOST done... finally! Although graduation has been pushed back until next May, I know that the next year is just going to fly by!  I'm ready for the real world and ready to live in the same city as my honey again!

The family is doing great as always... we have a new addition to the clan- Avila Grace Fradd was welcomed into the world a mere 2 days after my 22nd birthday on June 24th.  It's great having another June baby in the family!  My nephew Liam is 1 1/2, niece Taylor is 2, and little Paisley just had her 1st birthday on June 30th.  I just love those little ones!  Kirsten and Chad decided to elope last month and we are traveling to the Carribean in November for their wedding in Punta Cana! very exciting!

so I have WONDERFUL news... my sister Kirsten is now engaged!!! I could not be happier or more excited for her! Tis the season. Chad has been a part of our lives for almost 6 years and I am so excited to soon have him as my brother! my life will then be complete with my 3 brothers AND 3 sisters! crazy, i know! It sure has been a wonderful year and it just keeps getting better everyday.  You have just got to love LOVE!

He might very well be 1 of the goofiest people I've ever met... but he is my best friend and the love of my life!

The College Years

IT'S CRAZY HOW FAST TIME REALLY DOES FLY BY. IT SEEMS LIKE JUST WEEKS AGO THAT I WAS MOVING INTO MY DORM ROOM AND EMBARKING ON COLLEGE LIFE. ALMOST 4 YEARS HAVE PASSED SINCE THEN AND LIFE SURE IS INTERESTING.

IT'S AMAZING HOW MANY OPPORTUNITIES AND OPTIONS ARE ARE HANDED TO YOU WHEN YOU ARE GROWING UP. I'M IN A SORORITY, HAVE HAD AN ADDITIONAL 4 PEOPLE BECOME A PART OF MY FAMILY IN THE PAST 4 YEARS (MY BROTHER-IN-LAW MATT, NIECES TAYLOR AND PAISLEY, AND LITTLE NEPHEW LIAM), I HAVE GAINED NEW FRIENDSHIPS, AND LEARNED TO APPRECIATE THE OLD ONES.

I AM LUCKY ENOUGH TO STILL HAVE IAN IN MY LIFE... 5 YEARS STRONG AND STILL GOING. IT'S CRAZY THAT WE MET ALMOST 11 YEARS AGO AND NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS DID I IMAGINE THAT WE WOULD BE WHERE WE ARE TODAY. I AM VERY BLESSED TO SAY THE LEAST.

I AM VERY HAPPY WITH HOW MY LIFE IS TURNING OUT AND I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO SEE WHAT THE FUTURE HAS IN STORE...
